Glossary 1. Introduction The exam is for all image consultants who wish to obtain universally accepted certification to increase integrity within the industry. Achieving FLC will present your credibility to the world – documenting that you possess the minimum required level of standards and knowledge. All image consultants are required to pass this exam before applying for Certified Image Professional (CIP). The FLC exam will address the three major fields of image consulting: -visual appearance -verbal communication -non-verbal communication The exam will also cover information regarding business ethics practices and professional image presentation. The exam will cover questions addressing men as well as women. Please keep in mind that we are not asking for information pertaining to any one specific philosophy or approach. The questions shall be fundamental in nature and will cover universal information and concepts that are readily acceptable worldwide. To increase your professional skills and knowledge, we strongly recommend regular study via books, registering for credible training and most importantly direct experience in the field.
